Skamol has supplied insulating materials to the Ceramic and Tile Industry for many years and develops products to fit into all types of furnaces and kilns.
The excellent thermal conductivity of the products is an important factor to conserve energy and to secure a good thermal efficiency in the furnaces. The products are normally used as back-up insulation.
To minimize energy consumption when producing ceramics or tiles, Skamol supplies highly insulating Moler bricks, calcium silicate boards and castables.
For insulation of Tunnel and Batch Kilns Skamol V-1100 (475) can be used as a
hot-face lining.
Loose Vermiculite and/or Skamol SUPER-1100 E are suitable for insulation of
kiln cars, as the low-weight material stores only a limited amount of energy.
