Aluminium Industry

Skamol has supplied insulating materials to the Aluminium Industry for more than 40 years.

The materials are used as back-up insulation in all types of furnaces, from ore to remelting of scrap.

The superb thermal conductivity of the products is an important factor to conserve energy and to secure a good thermal efficiency in the furnaces.

The required insulating materials are defined by the smelters and a wide range of Skamol products are used in various applications.
