The Skamol products are used as back-up insulation. The superb thermal conductivity of the products is an important factor to conserve energy and to secure a good thermal efficiency in the furnaces.
The low weight of Skamol SUPER-1100 E insulation is beneficial for the static load of the preheater tower.
