The combination of good thermal values, high strength and the accuracy of the precision-moulding technique make SKAMOLEX vermiculite shapes well suited for insulation of combustion chambers in domestic boilers. Due to their resistance to flame impingement vermiculite shapes are also used as flame projectors.
