To minimize energy consumption when producing glass or glass fibres, Skamol supplies highly insulating Moler bricks, calcium silicate boards and castables. The products are used as back-up insulation.

The low weight and good strength of Skamol SUPER-1100 E are important properties for insulation of the crown.
