The excellent thermal conductivity of the products is an important factor to conserve energy and to secure a good thermal efficiency in the process equipment. The products are normally used as back-up insulation.

To minimize energy consumption when refining and reforming crude oil into different perrochemical procducts, Skamol supplies highly insulating Moler bricks and calcium silicate boards.

For insulation of boilers, reactors, reformers, desulphur and carbon black units and pipes SKAMOL SUPER-1100 E is suitable for insulation as back-up and secures a low-weight lining.

The SKAMOPIPE 650 sections are ideal for insulating the pipes in connecting all equipment.
