As a part of vision and our continued focus on protecting the planet by reducing energy consumption and emissions of greenhouse gases, we have during 2022 succeeded in getting an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) that covers all our vermiculite products.
We are proud to share this information with you, as the EPD gives both you and us a valuable insight in our vermiculite production and creates an awareness of the environmental impact of our vermiculite products.

EPDs document the life-cycle environmental impact of products within energy consumption, resource use and waste. EPDs are a uniform way of summarizing how products impact the environment, converted into CO₂ equivalents.
EPDs give a transparent insight in the manufacturing-related emissions. This helps raise awareness towards the green agenda, as we can compare the environmental impact of different products within European and International standards.
Skamol’s EPD follows the European and International standards (ISO 14025 and EN 15804).
