New calcium silicate plant in Poland

03 November 2016

November 2nd 2016, we started the building process of our new calcium silicate plant in Opole, Poland with a groundbreaking event.

The day started in a showroom in an exhibition centre nearby and continued our on the building lot, where the mayor and other prominent guests participated.

Here we see the delegation including the mayor of Opole digging the first hole.

The new calcium silicate plan will be built in three stages and the first stage is expected to be finished at the end of 2017 with a total of 5600 m2. Here we present the facade of the new building as it will appear next year.

The plant will contain both showroom, office and modern production equipment that alongside our current plant in Denmark will contribute to Skamol's ambitious growth plans for the coming years within mould prevention, fireplace enclosures and high temperature industries.
